Arlington Jones in Music Documentary : The Quilt

Arlington Jones is a featured artist performing ragtime in “The Quilt: A Living History of African American Music”. This award-winning educational documentary for children and adults is produced by Musical Bridges Around the World (MBAW), a performing arts nonprofit in San Antonio, TX. Filmed at the historic Carver Community Cultural Center, San Antonio TX.

“It was a pleasure working with the MBAW staff and The Quilt film crew. I am honored and blessed to be a part of this special project. Being asked to play ragtime was very important to me. Throughout my career, I have studied the art of solo piano and intentionally give homage to it in my performances and recordings. It’s a style that’s not talked about or heard as much now. To contribute to its legacy in this way was a wonderful experience. -Arlington Jones
